  1. Overview

These Terms govern your use of the Converta website and service at converta.com.au (the "Service"). By submitting an enquiry or otherwise using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Customer Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

  1. What Converta Does

Converta operates a lead generation platform that facilitates introductions between individuals seeking services ("you") and independent third-party professionals who provide those services ("Professionals"). The Service is provided to you free of charge.

  1. Facilitator Only

Converta is a facilitator of introductions only. We are not a party to any contract, service or transaction between you and a Professional. Any service you receive is provided by the Professional under a separate arrangement between you and them, not by Converta.

We do not provide the services offered by Professionals, do not supervise or control Professionals, and do not guarantee the availability, quality, suitability, licensing, conduct or outcome of any Professional. It is your sole responsibility to evaluate any Professional and decide whether to engage them.

  1. Verification and Matching

When you submit an enquiry, we verify your phone number by SMS one-time passcode and may carry out an internal check to confirm the enquiry is genuine. We may reject or remove an enquiry where contact details are invalid, the enquiry appears fraudulent, or it falls outside our operating criteria.

Once verified, your enquiry may be shared with a limited number of Professionals, or with a single Professional on an exclusive basis. Depending on your enquiry, this may include more than one type of Professional. You may be contacted by those Professionals directly.

  1. No Endorsement or Vetting Guarantee

Where we describe Professionals as verified, vetted or similar, this refers only to limited checks we may carry out. We do not warrant the accuracy of information provided by any Professional or that any Professional holds current licensing or authorisation. Any such checks are not an endorsement or recommendation.

  1. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service lawfully, and to deal with Professionals in good faith. You must not use the Service for any commercial or business purpose, or to submit false, misleading or fraudulent enquiries.

  1. Reviews, Feedback and Your Content

Where you leave a review, testimonial or feedback about a Professional or the Service, it must be honest and based on your own experience, and must not contain unlawful, offensive, defamatory or knowingly false content. We may remove any content that breaches this.

You grant Converta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display any review, testimonial or feedback you provide for the purpose of operating and marketing the Service.

  1. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Converta is not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from your use of the Service or your dealings with any Professional, including the performance, conduct, advice or outcome of any Professional. Any dispute regarding services is between you and the Professional directly.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where liability can be limited, our total liability is limited to resupplying the relevant part of the Service.

  1. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or remove your access where you breach these Terms, provide false information, or use the Service unlawfully.

  1. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date posted, with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
